Jazz Johnson began her endeavors as a choreographer at the age of 12.  As a dancer for the Quich Dance Project, she was asked to choreograph a dance for the company.  This dance was so well received it was included at a local dance recital. She continued to study choreography and worked in various shows as a choreographers aid. Jazz began teaching dance seven years ago with much positive response.  She has experience in teaching dance for young children to older adults.  Jazz  also has incredible teaching skills with children who are ADHD and those with low motor skills.  She has great intuitiveness as a dance teacher and choreographer and will guide your study in dance with an encouraging uplifting attitude.  

Jazz has studied ballet to hip hop dance forms.  She trained in dance at Franklin School of Performing Arts, Ann Carroll School of Dance, American Dance Festivals Young Dancers School at Duke University and the professional division at The Ailey School in New York. She continues to study at Nashville’s Metro Parks, Vanderbilt Dance Program and the School of Nashville Ballet.
